Lauren Heath is a children’s book illustrator from Phoenix, Arizona living in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated with a BFA in Illustration from MICA in Baltimore. Her work includes storytelling illustrations, character design, and hand lettering. She is inspired by natural textures, mid-century shapes, movement, and light.
While her professional work is digital, she enjoys playing with traditional mediums like gouache and colored pencils to expand her creativity. She creates her own digital brushes with handmade textures to give her work a unique feel.
As a children’s book illustrator, her goal is to tell diverse and inclusive stories that inspire others.
